our
Methods
Ease the pain: this can be accomplished by the use of modalities such as behavioral changes, exercise, physical therapy, medications or surgical procedures.
Our methods are both interventional and non interventional.
Interventional Methods
Interventional methods include injections of local anesthetics with or without steroids into joints that are involved in the pain generation. These can be facet joints of the spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle joints.
non-Interventional methods
Non-interventional methods include the use of medications such as NSAIDS (non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Celebrex .
Other medications include anti-epileptic medications, anti-depressants, topical patches and narcotics. Exercise, weight loss, diet adjustments, sleep habit changes and behavioral therapies. These treatment methods can be used individually or in combination depending on the type of pain the patient presents with at the time of consultation.
